WebC1-launcher custom exe's will fix the launch problem on steam version, just delete or move the old Crysis.exe files from the Bin32/Bin64 folders and replace with the new ones included with C1-launcher download. Went to the Crysis folder itself on my hard drive, went to Crysis > Bin64 then clicked on Crysis64.exe (the one I assumed I needed since I have Windows 64 bit) and got the same result as usual.
