Mar 1, 2016 · WebJul 17, 2024 · Hi : I have an Echo GT 225 grass trimmer. Starts And idles OK but when it runs it has difficulty getting up to full RPM and dies after a few seconds. Seems like it starved for gas. ... My riding lawnmower won't stay running. Turns over and starts fine, yet won't stay running. I have to use the choke to keep it running, and even then, it will die.
