Web30 dec. 2024 · The Big Muff Pi (π), often known simply as the Big Muff, is a fuzzbox produced in New York City by the Electro-Harmonix company, along with their Russian sister company Sovtek, primarily for use with the electric guitar. It is used by bassists as well due to the Big Muff's squeaky frequency response. History Web24 apr. 2010 · The LBM was a giant leap forward and I used it for quite a long time. It had much more low end and sounded more grindy than fizzy (if that makes any sense). The Russian was fun and had a ton of low end, but didn't quite cut like the LBM. It was a bit too muddy for me. I happened to buy the Russian together on eBay with an EHX LPB-1.
