WebI have that exact same thing on my middle finger, for a few weeks now. It only hurts when I press on it, and so also when I write. I am going to see a doctor, but I have a feeling that it is going to have to be surgically removed. It is VERY tiny, about 1 mm in diameter, it is perfectly round, and it is definitely UNDER the skin.
